Eucalyptus deglupta
Rainbow Eucalyptus
It is native to the Philippines and to many surrounding Island nations of this region in southeaster Asia. So beautifully graceful in mild swaying breezes, this tall fast-growing tree captivates your attention in awe of its exotic beauty as you move under its canopies. One of the most colorful barks on a usually stout trunk found in nature. Its naturally thinly layered bark easily peals off daily resulting in varying colors being displayed from underneath year-round.
Very large tree and not recommended for small yards or limited spaces. This is a strikingly beautiful tree that to display its beauty must dynamically shed its bark, but it also sheds twigs, and branches constantly from normal weather patterns. It is very susceptible to hurricanes, from complete downing of tree to severe damage, remarkably with proper trimming of damaged branches it completes its recovery very quickly and takes on a stronger structure.
